Currently $508 on farm plus oil bonification for 42% and over 50cents per .1 oil or $5 per
    % .

So last load 44.2% a extra $11 in the back pocket.

If your oil goes under you get a discount but then you sell to a buyer who pays stacked average of elevator oil content which is known to all buyers and sellers

Has become number one crop, much like wheat used to be.

Nice crop to grow and harvest and makes the most money but lets not over grow it and ruin a good thing.

            Tell my banker that.
By the way i think we get 48+oil? Was in back room at terminal this fall and they ran every truck sample through a Foss. Would be nice to get paid oil bonus.

might have told you guys a white lie some buyers use this oil bonus system " 1.5% price premium (or deduction) for each 1% above (or below) the 42% threshold" unlimited on high side 36% limit on low.

dont laugh work it out for yourselves.

              Canola planting in dryland australia.

Knockdown mid april 1l glypho maybe some hammer or dicamba.

              Seeding 1lt grammoxone talstar insecticide.

Seed farmer kept seed around 2 to 2.5 kg per ha. Little or no fert.

1 grass spray "select" 500 ml per ha.

During growing season 60kg SOA sulphate of ammonia and 40 kg urea done in 2 operations.

Dessicate with 2l per ha glypho

              Direct head.

Yield and said dont laugh 1 to 1.2 t ha

It still pencils out ok. Add costs of 4 sprays seeding operation harvest and 2 spreads of fert.

And dont forget land is $400 to 700 per acre so maybe we can afford to grow shitty crops.

Best ive ever done is 1.6 but nieghbour who pour fert on gets up to 2t so there is room for more fert it seems but frost is always always a issue.

Hope youve stopped giggling at yields

                Klause...
Make your next kid an Australian!

Commonwealth country with the dollar about par.

Cheap land(if any decent stuff can actually be bought) in comparison to here.

Mallee.....do you guys have speculators or investors pushing up land prices(based on farming economics in Oz) beyond reason like in Sask. Canada?

Is that new gear mallee? How many tones does the chaser hold? How many hp is the tractor?

We have a 1200 bu cart and hills so we use a 4wd on it. I hate putting those hours on our big tractor.
