When u drop an extra $1B into CRAs coffers you expect them to get to work and return that and then some.

Oh yes there are lots of impediments to doing the right thing.. Like a local RM creating a sub class of assessed properties for "Non Resource based Commercial"


Fall into that one and your tax bill will drop by 40% compared to everyone else with a Commercial designation that gets no breaks.

It does pay to have the ear of "your people" as a certain president has made abundantly clear.

The end result of this repeated type of governance is additional debt, tax increases for everyone else and runaway spending and lowered bang for every buck collected.
