    Calgary Wow How could you!

Maybe I'm wrong and if Calgary thinks their old mayor was good and edmonton and their socialist mayor is good then WTF will Alberta stay NDP.

Its funny Nenshi won by some 7000 votes .

But the real funny thing was not enough ballots and long line ups.

Are we in Canada finally becoming a third world country where even a basic mayor election we can't get right.

Sad day for Alberta as a Wasteful useless mayor returns to run Albertas main city.

    Sad Day.

Naheed Nenshi has been re-elected for a third term as Calgary's mayor and all of the incumbent councillors have secured their seats following an election day marred by long voter lineups, ballot shortages and slow results.

As of midnight, when his main rival, Bill Smith, conceded, Nenshi had 112,503 votes to Smith's 97,756.

By 3:30 a.m. MT, Nenshi's tally had climbed to 194,718 to Smith's 166,857 with 98 per cent of the voting stations reporting.

At that point, Nenshi had secured 51.2 per cent of the ballots cast.

"Today, we confidently said as a people, as a community, that we will be bold, we will move forward and we will do it together," said Nenshi to a cheering crowd at The National bar on 10th Avenue S.W. after Smith conceded.

Nenshi said he was humbled by the support and also from looking

Nenshi has the "youth" vote, and they can be rallied by social media. They don't even have to know anything about the issues, just get a message, "it's urgent", "it's important", "stop them by voting", that's all they need, to go to the polls in a massive heard.

Leftist politicians will stay in power in the pathetic country of Canuckistan until we are full Venezuela because people are so dependent on government handouts here that what they fear most is the loss of handouts. Ask yourself can you live without government programs? More of your income depends on them than you think. If we switch to sound money and stopped printing cash, most Canadian farms are so far in debt that they would have a 10 min. life span. Think about that. I hope the millennials enjoy the the caliphate.

It seems us Albertans have lost our entrepreneurial spirit SF3. All the young people are wanting to become civil servants to work for government. The education system of the last 30 years is winning the battle for the socialists.

.Calgary mayor has did his job very well he deserved to be reelected. So if mayors are linked to political parties what is Regina's mayors political ties.?I say what does it matter? Hard for some to understand that they represent their city and not a party or political ideal.

Don't hang it all on Nenshi. He's just one vote on council and really doesn't have any special powers. And this last council was quite dysfunctional. His Conservative opponent was the last Pres of the Alberta PC's who quite frankly started the spending spree here. Plus he's a lawyer with a very shady background. And in Alberta municipal elections people have always tended to vote for what many of you would call 'lefties'. Thats just the way it is.

Calgary is screwed with a liberal population in the cities that think all their jobs would still be around if oil gas potash farming was all gone. Sadly till they starve the new generation has no clue.

Sort of like a guy who moved her from Scotland then moved again and now is Anoying his neighbours in Manitoba.

Your not liked where ever you go.
