Sure, chuck chuck, go ahead; you're free to call me ignorant and you're likely even mostly right.

But you might not want to apply that label to the Ukrainian expat who recently described to me what he left behind and is now watching the same politics slowly taking over our land, his new home.

He would apply an accurate name for your kind, based on his experience "back in the USSR" - a "cultural Marxist".

Of course since you don't like to deal in reality, you would discredit his experience as well.

But there are those of us who do not like being sold out by twisted ideologues with whom discussion is pointless.

Hey, I was at the last elders of Zion meeting.. I didn't see chuck chuck. Strange.

Anyway i think it's only reasonable to keep a close eye on solar and wind power technology just based on the potential economic value and speed of change that's happening. At some point the numbers won't lie. It will make sense to invest or not.

I would argue that the Saudis backed out of the opec agreement partly because they recognized the change that was happening and oil price manipulation outside of free market fundamentals was only excelerating the rate of change.

Some interesting topics regarding renewables and environmental technologies:

Teslas power wall and solar shingles- worth a look

"Impossible foods"- S valley co. Making meatless burgers that taste just like meat. - bill gates invested heavy into this. Does this pose a threat to animal based meat products?

blockchain technology- I don't think there will be an industry or profession that this tecnology won't disrupt.

quantum computers- will usher in some unbeleaivable changes in the next 10-20 years.

All U stuck in a box thinker farmers better buckle up! Do your kids a favour and buy them and raspberry Pi and tell them to make there own toys. They might have a chance still.

I believe Burnt can recognize a Marxist and for someone that believed so strongly in a collective state controlled grain confiscation I think I recognize one also Chucky.

Really? How could supporting the CWB which was supported by the majority of farmers for decades along with numerous Conservative and Liberal governments make you a marxist? Does that mean all the previous to Harper Conservative MPs some of which you likely voted for, were also marxists?

If that is the case, then supply managed dairy farmers (including Burnt I believe), benefit from border tariffs, managed supply and price controls, all courtesy of Government intervention. Sounds like socialism to me. Does that make Burnt and dairy farmers Marxists too along with most of the current Conservative party?

Its really hard to take you guys seriously when you come up with lame arguments.

Funny that - it's even harder than ever to take you seriously - not that I ever did - since you just showed your "udder" ignorance, LOL!!

Your speculative abilities are again shown to be highly under-developed.

Unless having black or red calves sucking on black or red cows has been transformed into dairy farming, I've never been a dairy farmer.

But what you did here, chucky buddy, is show the typical Liberal mind in process beginning with misguided preconceptions and jumping from them to wrong conclusions!Click image for larger version

In Lawrence Solomon's article he states that 1600 coal fired electricity plants are under construction or in the planning stage around the world. What is the average life span of a coal fired plant? 25-35-50 years? It would seem that many countries are still betting on coal for many years to come. Chuck2 you didn't address the nitrogen trifluoride emissions of solar panels or how in your opinion solar power will continue to become less expensive even though manufacturers are going broke at today's prices. For me it is very simple, these radical environmentalists pushing the climate change agenda are doing nothing more than trying to sell communism wrapped in a green jacket and a smile

The "climate change" propaganda campaign perfectly fits in with the leftist mind because it promotes hate for the wealthy and especially hate for the wealthy oil companies.

Is it fair asking a climate alarmist to explain the economics of solar panel production? Explaining the economics of any point seems very inconvenient for their agenda.

Trudeau, Suzuki, Gore, chuck, grass, forage will all tell you that solar panels are built from the heart out and budgets will balance themself. 😂

Betting against technology has always worked well.
