This week, and last week, we had forecasts like that in Southern Alberta. Even forecasted "periods of rain, 20-30mm", for a couple of those days last week. So far, we havent had a drop out of these 2 systems. Combines and balers can go every day.

YR.no has been pretty good again. Last Thursday they forecast 3" from last Friday till today. Tonight we are bang on 3". They did have more rainfall in the forecast at one point but I guess that landed elsewhere close by where guys got 3" in addition to what we've had.
They've got no rain in their long range forecast for most of SK till the end of the month at least.

Ha! We beat all of you.

Tuesday was supposed to be cloudy but we got snow and an inch of rain which is now at 3 inches total this week and a little further west of Edmonton they got 4. Things just dried up after last weeks 1.3 inches as well. Hopefully we can start combining and continue second cut next month since it's a little soupy here.

I've quit making decisions based on the forecast since I've got enough rained on hay that should have been put up in perfect weather according to environment Canada. Leaves a sour taste in your mouth for anything government related....

Nah. They probably have better cell service than we got out here.
