Question for the market experts .

Looking for a straight on answer please.
Talking western Canada only , how much of the hrsw has been harvested to date ?
Not potentially that could be in the next week or two , but what is in the bin / elevator as of now ?
Not a question for durum or any other class of wheat , but hrsw .
Just to throw a number out there based on early harvest in some areas and now to be later harvest in others .... 60% completed??
The market should know fairly accurately what is done as harvest has been stalled for a bit in areas with crop out yet.

        Manitoba 100% done
        Sask 75% done
        Alberta 50% done

Wheat isnt going into the commercial elevator system at the same rate as canola. There is 250,000mt more canola in the commercial system than this time last year. Wheat is being held for profit while canola is sold for cash flow. Guys realize the very long play that wheat is this year so are getting into a better position cash flow wise.

Or maybe this years canola crop wasn't that small.

I don't think there is any upside in wheat till we hit the new year at least. More likely March/April.

Or I could be totally wrong. 50/50 either way.

Also factor in straight cut canola....guys that talk to long time straight cutters know it should move sooner than later....better the canola in the system and cash in the bank at any price.....
