    Hey Grass farmer.

      Two things I've learned about them since moving to Manitoba - the oak woods around here that are healthiest are not heavily grazed in the summer. A friend tells me they are so dependant on the mycorrhizae that if these fungi are damaged by the companion species being overgrazed the oak trees struggle - almost suffocating in a way.
      The other thing I've learned is that corn benefits greatly from mycorrhizae and why intercropping corn with something else works very well.

          Whenever I see an organic farmer preaching soil health, I find it disturbing

          I've seen more degraded soils from organic operations than conventional
