    Yummy snack

    2 cups pea flour.

    1 cup sliced pecans
    1 cup sliced almonds
    1tsp vanilla
    2 tbsp milk

Then mix in the pea flour.

    Fold in the nuts.

Form into 1x1 inch blocks about 9 inches long. Should make three of them.

Put in freezer for an HR

Pull out of freezer cur into 1.5 inch chunks form them into 3/4 by 3/4 by 3 inch long pieces put them on a baking sheet.

Bake at 350 for 18 mins.

Pull them out and cool them.

Melt the chocolate and shortening... Dip the brickets into the chocolate.

Let stand and cool. They are so delicious and using pea flour really makes the chocolate and nuts taste better.

I just inhaled a large stainless steel bowl of buttered popcorn while watching the PVR'ed Rider's game.....it tasted even better because it was their third straight win against their strong Western opponents.

Maybe they're finally gelling. Go Riders!

Might have to make some of those sometime. Pulses in our diet...couldn't hurt! I really never ate many growing up but we do now. Healthy protien. Lentil soup. Spinach and chick pea salad. Chili(meat) with different kinds of beans. But not peas so much! Market support....lol.

          Ya I stole two...

Klausett baked carrot and zucchini muffins today and I made these... all made from home grown ingredients as much as we can enjoying them with a stevia leaf and chocolate peppermint tea... Yes we grew both of those herbs in our garden too.

Good stuff that stevia. Did you see the research showing it's effect as a treatment for Lyme disease among other things?

Those special meals where everything on the table comes from your farm/garden sure give you a sense of satisfaction like no other. A bit of pride and a bit of tasty! One great benefit of a mixed farm. Haven't tried grinding our own flour yet but should.

Guess, now that we can get our hands on some undesiccated lentils, it is time for lentil stew with hambone, carrots and french onion soup mix sprinkled with mozza cheese.
