    Sclerotinia

I've done the late adopter practice (swathing) on half my canola-1000 AC and have yet to see even one plant afflicted by white mold. Not one. And several neighbors sprayed every acre. Guess they believe the pays to spray every year thing.
Some years I have sprayed. Years when a flowering crop was wet for more than three hours during the entire month of July. It didn't rain here! And pretty good crop in spite of that.
It's tough to make decisions. I don't profess to make much over half of the right ones. But farmers need to be their own agronomist and think-is there going to be fungus with no moisture?
Same goes for wheat. Some years I've sprayed and gained 10 bus. This year no spraying and zero fus.

We were dry all year with two rains June 14 and Aug plus major wind well o also did the new send away petal test that seems to work. Saving this year $100,000.00 in not having to spray plus cost of sprayer use. This whole crop specialist bull shit is getting out of hand and most is provided by the companies that sell us the shit.

One plant in what 1000 f%^k me were stupid group.

Now if you had rain ever second night and it never dried down yes spraying probably had a place.
Look at your own fields and judge your self duck read about the disease and it's cycle.

    Rant over back to swathing
