Does anyone know what the proposed tax changes for farm corps is about. Been hearing about it but no details.

I find the whole thing actually kind of funny.

Years ago the Banks wanted all farmers to incorporate. They pushed it said it was for business reasons and some even lended on it. So farmers that didn't even need to incorporate did. Big tax savings was promised and us sheep all followed.

Who else thinks this plan was in the works for years.

Get all farmers and small business owners to incorporate.

Then Nail every single one as a tax revenue group. Cha Ching for government.

We were all taken Hook Line and Sinker.

Kill the ones who create jobs and give every thing to keep their small business going.

Then Drop personal income tax on all the 'Liberal' Voters who don't work etc etc.

Thanks for info it looks like farmers are going to get it up the ass again. The carbon tax isn't enough so the libtards are going to take away income deferral and now going to tax farm corps more. Just think how many more illegal immigrants will be able to live off the backs of working class in canada.

In about 1990 I took a government policy economics class at the University of Regina. The prof wasn't hot on corps and maintained that they lead to a higher level of taxation (after gross-up and taxation again in private hands). He was emphatic that we never put real assets in the corp so we never incorporated our farm land but have 3 other corps for business reasons. We kept real assets in personal name.

JT can try to pluck this goose but he should keep it firmly tucked in the back of his mind that corps are pretty portable and the goose he is trying to pluck does have wings. He'll be making so much money with pot farms he doesn't need this tax grab.

Quite true, but we haven't had a balanced budget since then. In fact under his budgets we trimmed over 100 billion off are national debt.
