No thats not brad thats yesterday with friends relaxing at the lake. Yes its one last rip before the silly season fall version starts. One guy i know is 11% done on 30000 acres. Peas are in the bin and now working on lentils. We start this week swathers are all ready. No we didn't sell the swather. What a useless campaign. Combines are waiting on a update and reverser for two. Who knows where best price is on grain bags.

                Re: grain bags.
Have you tried Johnston's at Welwyn?
Shouldn't be a shortage this year.
Grain bags are a big part of farmer's operations who rent land from landords without bins. For us, if we were chronically short of bin space, I always thought of them as a temporary solution to a long term problem. We only rent 30, yes thirty, acres.

Crop tour up to Saskatoon yesterday proved one thing if you got one shower at the right time in July wow did it grow. If you didn't get the right shower or still haven't wow WTF.

Barley being harvested by Davidson last night strait cutting. One of our guys who posts on here.

Lots of lentils harvested and peas.

Wheat a few had swathers out making outside round.

Canola swathing taking place and other areas guys either aren't ready or going to strait cut and it looks ugly.

Peas being combined west of Blaine lake..one field of canola swathed..
Even some flax combined east of saskatoon..crop looked thin from the road..

Get her in the bin and turn on the fans. The weather could change tomorrow and you may not get to combine until Oct. It has happened.
