This is the Whitewood lakes area and south of Whitkow
About the middle of the horseshoe...

The sad part is, I could post that look look just like your's, only difference being that the cause was excess water, not drought. I should say, drowning followed by drought, we've had the best of both worlds this year. But on paper, it likely averages out to a perfect growing season.

Nice pictures shows the contrast between areas and like I said you only need 4 one inch timely rains and it's a home run.

Remember once in the 80's we had good reserve then only 1" that next year broken into two 1/4" rains and one 1/2" rain perfectly timed and still had 25 bu wheat. Mind you this was in the summerfallow days.

Yea we have some shit that now a week after the rain is coming again. When will these areas be ready Dec.

The two farms are 4 miles apart.

Again its just a few miles away.

So basically yea the good will balance with the bad and create no crop insurance and give us a half the crop of normal. to just maybe above half.
