It is certainly unfortunate that members of government that are way past their best before date retire and are then hired by public policy groups like the pembina institute. :-(

Winnipeg had a reprieve when they finally punted him out of the mayors chair. He is completely out of touch with people that aren't gay, new age, save the planet while driving SUV types.

Could fit in with NDP in Alberta and Calgary's mayor.

"Winnipeg had a reprieve when they finally punted him out of the mayors chair."

Murray was never punted, he resigned! Are you implying his follow-up, Slippery Sammy made Winnipeg a better city while serving as Mayor?

"Could fit in with NDP in Alberta and Calgary's mayor."

Naheed Nenshi has been awarded the 2014 World Mayor Prize, beating out 29 other mayors worldwide — and news of the win comes on his birthday, no less.

Based on past posts made by you, I think there's more to your displeasure of Murray and Nenshi.

No Forage, he was punted. Murray knew the writing was on the wall and his scandals were starting to float to the surface. Time to bail.

As far as Sam and his Shindico cronies you're right about the slipperiness.

Doesn't matter. Doesn't change the fact that Murray is another "Inconvenient Truther" hell bent on lining his own pocket on the environmental gravy train.

Also, a la Al Gore, one look at Murray and you can tell he doesn't walk to work.
