Today isn't really that hot but most canola fields are covering their heads. The relentless wind is up again and doing its part to dry out the plants.

So far my assessment is it's hit the gas since I'm on our heaviest section of dirt. But on a light field I drove past on way here it's definitely running quickly out of gas in spots.

Yes it's Canada day we all should be singing and partying up a storm but for some of us it's just another windy Saturday on the sprayer.

Next week scares the shit right out of me. Wind every day and up to 34 above.

This ones along way from the bin and each day I'm not sure it will make it.

Rained last night from lake to within three miles of the yard. One hour drive and it stops here.

Could of done ok this year if the ducking wind would of stayed half ass calm.

Second pass liberty the rain caused small WO and cleavers so lots pressure and lots water. This just over 5 lbs.

On sprayer boom..do you have just the wheels or ultrasonic as well?
          Does it work well?
We have raven auto boom..dealer claims ultrasonic is the answer.

Well .... just my guess but here isa picture just NE of here where they have had rains every 4 days ....

All our canola started showing 2 days ago what you seen . The untrained/ ignorant eye thinks it's great .... record crop .
Those of us that have been around a few decades know we are fuked within 10 days .

Blue / silver silver leaves from lush green in 2 days .... it's done , go drink beer

Happy Canada day to you guys..
It was a good day here too, we went from bad drought to good to great to flooded.
                    And guess what ???
There are horrible, poor, good and great crops all over.
But.... good crops here are going backwards as were goood crops north of the wet line.
Yup , record canola crop ..... lol , lol , lol
Go for a dunking drive without you sunglasses on 😎
