Be very careful on # 35 N of Wadena. The Dept apparently forgets we exist. In winter they salt dangerous ice to Jct 35 & 49 and rarely go N to Naicam corner, WTF? Repairs last year to CRATERS took two months, into July! Just put gravel and grade once in awhile, oh and lots of warning signs is the major job. This year better but then some SOB crew hand filled or built up both sides of CP rail crossing 2 miles S of Fosston and now we have 2 F*CKING speed bumps 6 feet apart!!!!! Try that at 80 Km even, 20 Km with loaded tandem is about right. When I complained they were going to put up MORE warning signs, F*CKING morons!

I agree with the terrible job done at rail crossings many places and I did hit those ones you're speaking of on a trip up to look at some northern land. Holy cow!!!

Many of the roads are beyond maintenance and dangerous. Only going to get worse there is no plans to fix them either.

Klause I travel to manitoba often for various things. Where are these terrible roads? I assume up north? Because the ones more south at least where I ve been are nothing like here. But I m sure there are some bad ones there as well.

Cutting the grass is another thing left way too long here.

Roads are dangerous in rural sask.
Maintenance hours have been cut so now the big bill for repairs is necessary.
Repairing already is privatized roads that were done to make a good appearance for the last election which wasn't long ago are terrible.

Safety issues for people that need to get to the city with no hospitals near.
The work ethic and efficiency of union employees has EVERYTHING to do with the union.

The work schedule of the workers CaseIH described would never take place at a production company reporting to shareholders.

Zero accountability, ambition and pride in work is what a union brings. No amount of $ will fix the highways if the workers spend half their day on coffee and lunch breaks!!

              Sometimes yes if the leadership
Isn't up to par I agree. But nothing guarantees quality or efficiency in the system where friends of the government get selected for the jobs no matter what. Or selected for liquor boards etc etc.
Only so much money is given if the private guys want to pocket the money and skip quality who looks at that?
Nobody when its friends of friends. Some of the latest road work private is a real shit show doesn't even last a year then people go blame maintenance which is lacking but if there was quality to start would require less maintenance to begin with.
It's plains and simply mismanaged private and public I agree.

What's new sask has had the sittiest roads since the beginning of time. I think they have closed the gap compared to other provinces in the last 10 years. Really unfortunate you guys are wasting all that taxpayer money on the Regina bypass. Could have been put to better use.

You're funny big wheel! Surely you jest about good roads in southern mb.? Some of the newer ones are not bad but the older highways are a disaster and there's lots of those. And you also say the union workers aren't the problem? As caseih said, it's hard to get anything done in a 3 hour day. Sheesh! My dog pisses on big wheels.
