It is important to remember that democracy is the business of buying votes so the Lieberals are at business as usual. Canuckistan has long been very corrupt but it was easy to hide with energy revenue and financial repression hiding the cost of vote buying. The Bank of Canuckistan has been financially engineering (printing piles of worthless loonies) since the late sixties but it does attract headlines like when the FED does it.

There is a difference between routine spending decisions being made by our Government which may not be approved of by all due to perceived regional bias and the situation in the US where the President and those closest to him are being accused of collusion with a foreign and hostile power (which let us not forget was a communist country and since WW2 has been the greatest foe and threat to the US) to throw the American election result.
