      We don't use it anymore. Soybeans are important in our rotation now and Lontrel residual is bad news for beans.

      Chem cos charge what they think the market will bear. I think their market research is wrong.

          Pyralid is the new generic. Cheap cheap cheap. Lontrel one of the best chemicals ever made.

            What do you guys use it for mainly? Thistles? I used it once in canola direct seeded into alfalfa stubble, worked good on alfalfa but was pricey.

                  The dow rep told me years back that lontrel was expensive to make,so expensive that they never had to take out patent out on it no one would copy it.

                    How cheap is cheap? Havent used Lontrel for years but it sure worked mixed with assure and muster gold back in the 90's. Its frustrating trying to price out different chemicals, be nice if there was a msrp list and haggle or bundle from there.
