    Feed Grain/Drought

Feed barley here yesterday $215 port equates to around $185 on farm for new seasons barley nov 17.

Seen a lift of almost $60 per tonne since early april a real drought premium being worked into prices as Australian dryness becomes worrysome and nothing really on radar in june plus of course northern hemisphere dryness Canada usa and parts of eu.

Strangely wheat really hasn't moved to same degree or standard milling wheat $225 port.

Snapshot of aust, west aust crop 2/3 sown not much more will happen and about 60% of that has germinated SA were I farm say 80% sown very good in our area but some places have not sown to dry NSW basically good and Victoria good or too wet. But WA is the shaker and mover the big grain producing state.

another day another rise in feed barley up 2 bucks again nobody forward selling anything anywere here in oz looks like another 3 weeks with almost zero rainfall.

a lot of negatives worldwide that market will notice by july sometime and equilibrieum will be returned world stocks unfortunately through a drought maybe rather than less acres planted

Sounds a little dry in Australia. Hot and dry in US. Actually quite dry here where we are in Sask. Be interesting if that keeps up
