If you saw an antique MF tractor dragging a Bourgault seeder I was planting barley by the highway. I am Definitely the last guy seeding around here! Same weather conditions as everyone. Hot and wind. The early seeders gained good moisture and it all looks good. Now it is rather dry.
Most farms are into spraying mode now. One neighbor says it's frustrating because of the absurd amount of windy days.
It is a common conversation every year. Everybody dumps a pile of borrowed cash on inputs, burys them and then start to worry about rain.
