    Crop insurance??

Just wondering , has anyone had any experience with crop not coming up ? Its a real mess around here , most of this wet seeded shit may not even grow . Can they come on june 20th and tell us its not established after pumping $200-300 an acre into canola ? And only give the $100 an acre to wet to seed at that point ? We are f$&ked here if the rains have quit

I agree in Sask what you get are Crop Insurance premiums almost double Manitoba, the PST added to your premiums, and the stupid so called establishment benefit. In Manitoba you have full coverage when the seed is in the ground. There needs to be a full investigation of Sask Crop Insurance?
I flee beetles eat you canola it was not established, If your crop freezes it was not established. if it floods out it was not established etc etc. Who comes up with this fraud.

In 2010 we had the same problem. If you took it out of production by a certain date the paid you a unestablished benefit, at the time it was $45 per acre for canola. Big whoop.

Well , everyone should be phoning their mla on this topic . You buy ins for too wet to seed , they set dates like june 1 for canary seed, so they make you mud stuff in to be in compliance with the date they pick . Then if it doesnt grow they say its not established and you dont get the $100 /ac or crop ins coverage . They just pay you a reseeding benifit but its too f$&king late to reseed ????????Oh and the date for wheat and canola is june 6 and 7 and too wet to seed doesnt kick in until june 20, wtf ?????? Something really wrong with this pic ?? We got 42" rain last year , no-one is trying to screw scic ?? Any of you MLA's on here need to go to bat for farmers in Sask ??? Any of you FARM GROUP's need to wake the f$&k up also and starting helping farmers
