Could see another 3 day rain event , exactly where it's not needed .

I don't watch any one in peticular but this one seems to be a good indicator most times ..

If that lines up the the weather network , Drews , and one more than chances are probably high that it close in the 5-10 day.
They can change , and do at times but I base my decisions 5-10 days out if they line up.
Spraying season coming up fast so if it means spraying maybe a touch early on some crop I will do it . Better than leaving things then get caught with pants down later

Furrow,,,, if you extend the North Dakota/Montana border straight north we are basically on that same line,
maybe 10 miles east of it....and what do you find there on that precip map? Grey shaded area....basically **** all for precip for the next week!

            By decent you mean dry?

Northeast Saskatchewan needs to be rain free until June 10th.

No , of you look at map , it shows SE Sask , Farmaholic area and Manitoba finally getting some rain. Hope they do.
But it can change , it's just an indication so far. I don't want or need to get crucified on here if it does not happen .. lol
But if the majority of that next system hits Red Deer north and through North Sask ... it will make extremely wet areas not good.
But time will tell over the next few days .

Which is worse flooded out so can't seed or sticking $200 an acre in the ground and watch it turn into a desert? Half an inch of rain in the last month and a half.

June 5-10 will still be ok. Germinated grain will hang on and wait for rain for awhile. There is moisture down below so the roots on most crops will keep it alive except for cereals. In 1980 with no rain until July 18, the wheat could not tiller and even though it headed out, when you touched it with the header, you can imagine.

think with the frost setback big area of hay crops will be in trouble more so than seeded crops if June is not a wet one.
