Newspaper stories of funding cuts to handicapped and special needs education makes my blood boil. Our universities are filled with foreign students who are subsidized with our dollars, all kinds of special programs for imigrants, welfare for life for many, fancy stadiums, massive overpasses, billions frittered away on carbon capture - and I could go on all day. But the ones who really need it are SOL.

Have you ever worked for gov. In sask or fed. Talking from the sidelines is real easy. The NDP created a awesome system to keep going in sask for years. Cradle to grave NDP workers once your dad r tired son or daughter moved into useless positions. Union dues paid, ah the NDP circle of life.
Most have been retired by now and the NDP would like a renewal.
But under brad we got roads fixed, parks fixed, Schools and hospitals built not closed. And yea infrastructure fixed, because of a growing population.
The NDP as happy with a province of 900,000 not 1.2 million.
Here is a bet if the NDP get back in watch as they run up debt and say it was all brads fault, at the same time doing jack shit and creating gov useless jobsComment

Here in Alberta, the ND's are slowly culling the overpaid, million dollar salaried heads of departments that the Cons put in place, rehiring at a much more reasonable remuneration. But some of those contracts are way to lucrative if they get canned....but at lest they put them on notice. AFSC was one of em.....
Point being, they all have their problems...the only way to keep governments close to honest is by changing.....
You can chose socialism for the people or socialism for corps....that seems to be the bottom line....and even that pendulum has to swing back and forth.Comment
