    Public share offering

Does anyone know why Saskatchewan is not doing what was done with public corporations in the past: share offering?

Share offering enable residents to invest and capitalize, and in many cases earn both capital gain and dividends. These are great investments!

Why a single investor? Anyone know the reasoning?

By picking a single investor it's more lucrative for Wall & Co.

The shares of CN rail have increased over 25 times since there release in 1996. Plus dividends have been paid to many investors.

Public share offering seems to be a better tool for distribution of public capital.

The big unions and socialist cannot stand the thought of anyone but govt collecting the dividends from crown corps.I always thought that allowing the general public to invest in them was better than selected financial institutions, ei: Blakaney running to the New York money every year..

Good question. I am going to the premier's dinner, will take along a letter and ask him this very question. I want a piece of it too.

It is public capital. Indeed would be good to know what MLAs think.

the mlas are thinking like. we dont get kickbacks from a public share offering like we do from large corps.
