    Above the law

So Justin admits his dad made the possession charge go away on his late brother....nothing like being above the law....seems the facts are pretty clear and should be investigated as to who was paid off in the judicial system....

Would you have publicly admitted to the fact that his father used his position illegally? ( Guess its like some women admit to showing a little skin during a police stop.)

I know a guy who got his 18 year-old brother in law out of jail over Christmas by calling his dad's golf partner , a provincial judge, 45 bucks and Get out of jail free. Now it would be a public inquiry and some one would get fired.

None of those kids should have criminal records for possession of a little weed. I have a friend, a farmer and hard-working businessman, who has a 37 year old record. The record was erased(expunged)in Canada but he can not cross the border because they say the Canadian reversal means nothing to the Americans. He's working on it, but his property down South is not worth much to him today.

Can we really legalize dope and not excuse possession charges for people who still have that on their records from years back?
I think this is just another case, where Justin is perfectly comfortable having the courts write law and over rule Liberal policy. Once pot is legalized, the supreme court will rule and tell the government they must expunge the procession convictions from the records.
Just like the Liberal law on Doctor assisted death. The supreme court will rule that Assistance for Death also be offered to people with psychological problems. Mental pain = Physical pain.

Sorry danny, a law broken and conviction gained would have to stand. It was the law and as such breaking the law might indicate a pattern of anti social behaviour. As values and mores change it does not affect what was societal norms of the time.

The real issue here is that because of his family name and connections, a lawbreaker did not have to bear the usual consequences of his actions.

                Trudeau pulled his privilege card.

What was the process, who pulled the strings and why do we have a two-tier justice system?

But the privileged little dope sits there with his wimpy smile and pontificates about changing the system so that everyone has access to justice. What he seems to overlook is the fact that his little pothead brother completely avoided justice because of who he was.

What is most appalling is that this revolting, clueless pothead is the Prime Minister of Canada.

What amazes me is that people actually think Justin has stopped smoking dope since he's been an MP or PM as far as that goes. I have no doubt Justin's been smoking dope since he's been 15 years old. I also don't doubt that his mother's schizophrenia/bipolar is due to smoking dope prior to age 25.

Did you guys just wake up from a deep hibernation, strings are pulled everyday when it comes to politics. Every party has done it and will continue to do it. It all depends on which party you support weather you squawk or not.

If you guys want to see an example that the Con/Reformers are any different just look at the crap holier than thou former Manitoba MP Vic Toews has pulled! Walks around with the Bible in his hand every Sunday! Vic is currently in the news as we speak! It's not hard to google. Claimed to be Mr Family Values, this guy will make your skin crawl.

It will never change, which doesn't make it right in either case!

you do have to question the wisdom of telling what happened.
but at least there was some honesty.
unlike brian mulroney with his payoff , brown paper bags of cash.
off free after his lawyers got him to declare it to the CRA under an amnesty .
