    Canary seed seems to have done fine over winter.
    Going by the swaths left out there, keeping geese off is the main challenge until combining.

      Going to be a couple days yet. Usually most everyone would be in the field here. Forecast looks cool and drizzly well into may. Long range models are all over the place. Anywhere from 7/10" to 2 and 7/10" out into the first week of may.

        It's more fun to seed and see crop rows in a week or so..than seed into cold ground and look for seed 2 weeks later only to find it has not germinated yet.
        Have done that in the past.
