    Weather for Calgary

I was wondering what is coming our way and entered Calgary into Environment Canada Weather Forecast. It doesn't look great for a week and may be storming in Calgary right now. Some people I know are heading West for Easter, maybe better to book a flight south at last minute. 😀 As for farming - Lots of new-born calves wondering what the heck happened to the warm sunshine.

Hopefully, a Flames win will improve the climate in Calgary this weekend . . . .

Errol: the win may improve the "climate" but not the weather! Lol

Wouldn't base any weather on Calgary. Lol

It is snowing here off and on. World is white, seen a couple white seeder units waiting in yards this morning. But sounds like it's still pretty much just rain an hour east, not even.

Now west... that's the snowfall warning. 25cm!! Ick.

          Just now...
A major spring storm will bring heavy snowfall to northern, central, and west-central Saskatchewan.

Rain will change to snow from northwest to southeast through Friday. For the Battleford region the greatest snowfall accumulation will be over the western and northern sections which could see more than 20 cm of accumulation. For the remainder of the region especially the North Battleford townsite and eastward mostly rain is forecast and only minor snowfall accumulation is expected. Snow will taper off on Saturday.

Prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow.
