    At least no snow

Interesting to look at historical weather. In 1974 there was still 43cm of snow on the ground at this time!

Must of been quite the year.

74 was epic once-in-a-lifetime stuff here. Remember Dad saying crop dried up anyway.

In 1974 we had a heavy stand of durum that lodged and on August 13 it started to rain and it rained about 5 inches. We slipped and slid on our gumbo roads to the city because we had a baby on the way. Baby born August 15 and before we brought him home it froze to crap. Driving down the road smelled like sour kraut. Crop pooched!

Forecast calling for a big winter storm for Saskatoon over Easter weekend. Might come as far south as Regina and as far north as P.A.

Started WET and Late, plus everything froze in Aug, feed wheat and sample canola. Just a great year!

How many farmers keep yearly logs of each crop year? Date seeding started or weather conditions or disease or insects a chronicle of how things went that year. even just the lessons learned to each year.

I always wish we did but like so many things just not enough time in the day.

Hope not danny. But the rabbits around here have quite a bit of white fur on them.
