    Canadian Cannabis Stocks

Is any one investing in Canadian Cannabis Stocks?

I have purchased 4 stocks thinking if they do legalize Recreational Cannibas the stocks could go through the Roof.

If they do not legalize it the stocks could be worth $0

US policy will dictate how far Canada gets on that idea. Watch for Trudeau to back off his plan (just like electoral reform) when Trump tells him he will arrest and prosecute every Canadian caught with possession at the border.

I do agree that Cannabis will be very big in Canuckistan but have shied away from investing as most people will use the product to harm themselves. I do drink a small amount of alcohol but don't smoke. I do think that for a lot of people in this sorry country, they will want to be stoned in order to deal with the crappy hand that life will deal them in the future mainly due to fact we will be like the third world with a privileged class in gated communities while the riff raff with poor opportunities will remain on the outside.

There is a major drug issue here in Canada - it's huge.
            AJL just summed it up.
I think investing in it will be better than gold or stocks ,
Investors in Colorado did very well I think lol

Not a real "ethical" investment if you're anti drugs. I bet alot of people will have new found "aches and pains" that in their mind will need treatment.

Isn't everyone allowed a few plants for personal use now? Or didn't that pass yet.

Its the youth I'm concerned about. I know, I know.....they will find it if they want it regardless if its legalized or not. And when they get bored with it they can move on to something more exciting.

It would be like owning stocks in a tobacco company....just one of those moral things.

Is alcohol any better or worse?

For a while after boy wonder got elected and a lot of USA states changed the laws it looked like a great bet to make some money.

I agree he will do shit all and trump will not do any thing on this front, so a dead horse for a few more years.

Trumps new drug zsar is very much for the war on pot. Its not a safe bet at this time. Also there is no lack of supply in the black market where there are no onerous rules and regulation. Difficult for the corporate world to compete with the black market where a pound of pot was $2000 in 1980 and today it is still $2000. Reminds me of another industry.
