Agenda 2030 I know. 2015 not so much. The original, Agenda 21, was replaced with Agenda 2030 a year or two ago.

It is the UN initiative to define and promote "sustainability" throughout the world.

It is what determines the actions of your local municipal councils and pressures them to vote in policies that were developed in Geneva or New York City.

It has all the earmarks of socialist underpinnings and replaces local decision-masking with directives from someone who sits in a dreamworld thousands of miles away. We no longer need local councils to mediate local affairs; all our local issues can be decided by the edict of some unknown bureaucrat who doesn't even know today's weather of markets in your neighborhood.

Thanks to Agenda 21/30, we have tough codes, some of which are okay, but mostly stupid rules and bylaws like the recent move to create new and improved "burn bylaws", a process that was imposed on municipalities everywhere in the past few years.

It is the biggest, undemocratic power grab that this world has experienced since - oh, I don't know - maybe Napoleon? And this time it's run by eco-fascists and gives us lovely things like the Green Energy Act here in Ontario.

While trying to figure out Agenda 2030, it's helpful to remember that someone sitting in the UN is far smarter than you and I and deserves to determine how we live the smallest details of or lives.

And then implements it through directly influencing our local councils by having their wishes introduced and implemented through the Provincial Policy Statement.

It's a slick way to impose socialist or perhaps even communist objectives onto western society without ever having to engage the cumbersome and bothersome democratic process.

If I weren't so cynical, I'd say it's an underhanded attempt to impose the will of a few elites on all the mindless masses.

Oh yes, and I'm doubting whether China has signed on or at least concerns itself with compliance...LOLLLZ!

And if you are asking yourself - why would anyone comply?

Well that's easy one - local municipalities get their operations funding back from the Provincial governments; at least here in Ontario they do. This money comes from the taxes collected by the municipalities and submitted to the province. And then the province gives our money back to us. They are so efficient you know.

But wait, there's a catch! With Agenda 2030 in play, the province now gives money back to the municipality with a few strings attached - comply with our policy statements if you want to receive funding!

In any other world it would be called bribery or perhaps more accurately, blackmail, but in our wonderful UN dictatorship world, it's called okay because it's for the "greater good".

Klause now you got me started! What got you onto Agenda 2030?

Every time I hear the phrase "new world", I begin to think St. John and the Book of Revelation might be on to something. It makes me want to load more ammo, double check my bug out bag, and recheck hiding places and escape routes.

I hope most on here realize the words written on this site are recorded and will be used against many posters as they are labelled Enemies of the State.

Have heard about Agenda 21.
This does sound like a program that Trudeau, Wynne, Notley, Obama, EU, UN wouldn't be able to get enough of.
Trump and Brexit hopefully work against Agenda 21/2030 and its anti-capitalism and carbon tax policies.

Sounds like more of a program where, "Government knows best".
