    Recent weakness in the USD has allowed the CAD to advance. May not be anything but it has peeked out above a multiyear downtrend line again

    Trump stated to Wall Street Journal that USD needs to be lower to stimulate U.S. economy. But the Fed wants to hike rates which would rally the dollar.

    Loonie trending higher (IMO). $60 crude should equal an 80 cent spot CDN. A falling USD will stimulate oil prices and the CDN $.

      Ouch for Ag commodities sold into America or competing for internationally mutual markets with the U.S.
