    Trudeau

I notice that the first day of Trudeau's charade of town halls got live coverage then it slowly disappeared off the news for the next couple of days. ....back to trump.....and now the supreme court needs a major reno.....

It seems no one wants to talk about how stupid this PM really is.

A fake smile while pretending to listen then answering with a generic answer or blaming the province.

Something is wrong when a taxpayer says her energy bills are too high and he blames the province.....for one moment he could have been an outraged person at the energy bills but he can't relate to ordinary people....

Veterans being ignored.....young people that know they are going to fail with his policies.....

But the incompetence just goes ignored by the press in Canada.

Trudeau's nonsense should be getting more airtime than trump in Canada.

Sort of stupid to be taxing Netflix to support Canadian content when the news channels won't support Canadian news content about Justin ....even they would rather follow trump than Trudeau.

I bring this up because if harper said some of the things Trudeau said he would have been crucified by the press every day then again by the weekend pundits.

I agree whole totally with what your saying. Funny first it looked like CBC etc would run it and get positive press but then as they realize the general population is starting to not buy this shit show any more they switch out and turn to useless news.

Its news if people are pissed at the Pm and PRov leaders.

Why not just live feed all town halls and let everyone decide for themselves. Don't need any news propaganda to give us their opinion.

I understand how he won....some of that is on harper for not grooming someone to tackle Trudeau. ....and if the conservatives don't get their shit together .....Trudeau will win in 2019....

Trudeau is a incompetent puppet and someone in the news had better find out who is pulling his strings. ...

Just watched the Scrum on CBC and they discussed the town hall meetings, and the commentators had negative comments about JT regarding the answers he has given. But everybody gives him credit for going to meet the public, including the people attending the meeting who feel the same way.

So, at least he's got the balls to conduct them, as we all know those questions from the audience are always going to be tough.

                Forage

Even on that scrum they turned the talking points to someone else...

Haven't seen Trudeau response to the young guy talking about being set up to fail.....

On a different note...read part of a globe and mail article about Andrew Scheer could be the next conservative leader.....

PLEASE.....not Andrew Scheer...aka Alfred E. Newman.....from the comic book MAD. Worse than Trudeau.

IF Michael Chong would have been the leader of the cons. Instead of the Harper, you'd still have a Conservative govt in power

Don't know about that statement....but here is one to ponder....why didn't any of these so called leaders speak up before harper resigned?

Pisses me off that these candidates started talking about the way harper led....after the fact...they are not leaders....they are sheep.

                    Once again....please not Andrew scheer/Alfredo e. Newman. .....

This comment will show you I am not defending Wall, Trudeau, Harper, Wynne, Notley or Pallister....

but the Leader is just a figurehead of the ideological party that was elected. No Leader rules absolutely(albeit some more that others) but the party he represents is the flavor of the day and calling the shots.

I'm not saying the leader has no influence on the government's direction but it is obvious none of them have the complete knowledge or skill set to run the whole show by themselves.

True but if the MPs were listening to their constituents. ....Trudeau wouldn't need this charade of a dog and pony town hall show.....

                        Someone isn't doing their job.

The Liberal Party chose him because they thought it was their best chance at defeating the Cons.....do I think Trudeau is in over his head. .....oh ya!

Here is what Trudeau's advisors likely thought:

Justin has a few too many scandals on the go currently with his cash for access scandal and Justin also just accepted a conflict of interest holiday for his family and other Liberals with their significant others.
The ethics commission is currently investigating.

To avoid the heat, Gerald Butts wanted Justin to go on a taxpayer funded selfie tour of Canada courtesy of the CBC. They would screen the participants and ask him softball questions and give hugs at the end of meetings.
A few grumpy grandmas, students and angry taxpayers with high power bills slipped through the cracks and dared to question Trudeau's economic questions!!

The taxpayer funded selfie tour infomercial now has lost most of the CBC coverage .......just wait and see if there is any coverage in Alberta when the carbon tax questions get going.
