NDP in Saskatchewan actually implemented a camp fire tax 10-15 years ago.
The NDP in Alberta taxing you after death for a cremation carbon tax only makes sense to a socialist.....will they start measuring your GHG emissions for each funeral??

Rumour has it that it was so cold today in Edmonton that a few NDP MLA's were witnessed to have their hands in the OWN pockets.

But really this tax shit of Trudeau is getting out of hand. Boy wonder is a one hit and I'm starting to think he is gone in what less than three years.
I hate to say it, but he'll be gone or we'll be poor or living in the Western Canada Republic.

Wasn't only thinking of the Nat Gas in cremation, but the MASSIVE GHG your burning body releases going up in smoke? Shame on you dead people warming up the globe, potentially KILLING us!

Agreed ....that is the point. Someone has missed taxing dead bodies. They can't be used for pet food; they sure shouldn't be burned and allowed to release even more CO2. That cremation practice is not environmentally friendly. Raising sea levels; condemning grandchildren with the inappropriate behavior of their ancestors and so on.
So get that tax retroactively applied to Jan 1 in Alberta. But wait; maybe that is the reason why carbon rich bodies were actually meant to have a 100 dollar fee attached.

In fact, just exactly how is that hundred dollar fee (or even a $10.09 one) meant to be collected and charged out.) It appears now that death and taxes were once associated within a persons lifetime. Now after death there are those looking for an additional carbon tax just to reach your final resting ground.

I think I'll just get tossed in the old well at the old farm. Or I'll just save up some old flax bales and they can use that for fuel. Tax that - Big Boy!

Grassman..... Comparing C02 to C0 is equivalent to comparing C2H6O to CH3OH. We can ingest/inhale one safely and the other will kill you.... So its not the individual elements but the chemical make up of each molecule that will cause harm.

Time to impose a greater tax on alcohol since it has harmful carbon in it.*

Will they tax my ashes after*cremation?

READ THE ABOVE SENTENCE IN THE ABOVE POST FROM OCTOBER....I GUESS STRANGE THINGS CAN COME TRUE....CRAZY!

Also highly likely that the cows and bulls and sheep and goat poor manners and habits will be scrutinized and an accounting made in the near future.
