    happy new year from australia

well still harvesting 9600 acres to go. Ideal harvesting conditions rare, either to hot or to wet, crops flat and high yielding daily output about half of normal started 3 weeks late....sounds like a normal year for you guys.

all the best and thanks for freindships laughs and sorrows of 2016

Happy New year, you will greet it before US!
Certainly sounds like the ancestors should have emigrated there instead!

            around 80% not quite double

but yesterday was harvesting final paddock of barley only a small one 41 ha rectangular couldn't get across it diagonally without being full managed 12 ha before stopping for new years had to drive 80 kms home was averaging 5.7 t ha patches were going 7 against average of 2t ha

rent on this farm is pricy though at $30 per acre so needed good crops in saying that some lesser country we rent $10 per acre averaged 2.1t ha

Wife had interesting seatmate on flight from San Francisco. He was on way to Bali, said he had ceremonial stones in suitcase and expected to use them to meditate over when he got there and joined group of like minded people.
              Takes all kinds.
