Thanks for the suggestions and photos.
I think we can afford $1500 each all in.
So we are going to check out some of the suggestions.
Love the little turtles and big one Larry.
I really appreciate the ideas.

I was also thinking I could go visit Malleefarmer down under and help him finish harvest.
That would be a lot of fun.
Maybe next year with a little planning.

Absolutely love the Mayan like Larry. If it is possible wait until end of Feb. or in to March. That area can be a little cool in Dec. Jan. I would say the same with Cuba and Dominican.
If you just want hot and beach, try Huatulco. Good any time, but I find it a little remote.
Negril, Jamaica was nice.
Hopefully you have a great holiday, but beware the travel bug.
We like to do condo stays, and usually only go out for supper. I am sure we don't save over the all inclusive deals, but it is a different experience.
I hate being in town around here, but it is sure nice to be able to walk around at night.

Athens Coast
Athens Coast is an inexpensive vacation destination at Athens, Greece in Europe. Here you can enjoy popular bars, beaches, shops, running track and amazing weather throughout the year. It is a great place to spend your afternoon at sunny seaside beaches and night-life at bars and clubs.

the problem with the Mayan is you will drive by walmarts and Costco on the way to the resort and stuff is expensive compared to the rest of Mexico .its getting to be like the U.S. we're going there again at the end of the month , not my pick but travelling with someone else. have been there many times . my favorite in Mx is Huatulco , still some old mx there , very clean and nice . went there for $1100 last feb to dreams, fishing very good there also. have been to cuba too many times to count , loved every one . the problem is people book a sell off at a3 star for $700 then bitch about the food when really they have only paid air fares. you get lots of lobster , seafood there , is that bad ?.. always book a 5 star in cuba . it still will be a lot less than mx . we have done some other places like st. lucia , Granada, Caracao , Jamaica and Dominican . they were quite reasonable but require a night in Toronto . if you like diving and snorkelling as I do , curacao can't be beat !! a room by the airport in Toronto will run about $80 with shuttle and breakfast , same in saskatoon will run you about $150 , so a night in Toronto is ok . again nothing wrong with cuba and quite reasonable right now . we have been to varadero, holguin , cayo sta maria and Cayo coco . pm me if you want any more info .

Quite a long flight but can have a layover in Singapore or Thailand.
Before we went to Bali the first time I talked to a local guy who travels all over the world and I asked him where he recommended to go and he told us about Bali.
We did our first trip to Bali through CAA second one we did ourself.
We lined up a tour guide and for $50 a day he would pick us up at our hotel in the morning in a nice SUV and drive us anywhere on the island we wanted to see for the whole day. He brought a cooler we could put our drinks in the cooler. Very good tour guides.
Then in the resorts it was 90% Australian tourist so it was fun to visit with the Australians at resort and go out and see Bali.
Can not wait to go back again
