    Cold Harvest

Since it got bitterly cold the last fields around here are getting done. I hope the snow stays Away for the people from the north of me for a few more days.

We might head north of us again either today or tomorrow and take off another 300 for a friend. Then that is it. yesterday such thick frost that wouldn't work.

We helped a friend the last few nights. Canola was 12.0MT. Iam not sure how freeze drying works. And what happens when you dry it?

12 to 9 is a easy dry. 20 down is tough to dry and 16.5 is ok to go.

Done one quarter barley for a friend today. It was actually just dry from 2:00 on. Standing that was swath in morning. No frost or heavy dew last night. One left and its park the combines.

We are harvesting "just swathed" barley also. Too wet to test.

We couldn't move because too wet and roads were impassable. And the day it froze it snowed and now we still can't move even though the fields are froze enough. Unbelievable one bloody snow had to happen that day.
