Dakota Weather Consultants Weather Blog for Nov 15, 2016

    Good Morning,

Well the arrival of the first winter storm across the Rockies and Northern Plains of the US, will take place this week, right now the snow should start flying over the Rockies Wed night and then push into the Plains for Thursday and Friday, you can check out our Winter Storm Graphic on our site along with your latest forecast for various places through the Plains. Behind the storm some of the seasons coldest air will arrive with the potential of seeing Teens(F) for the Dakota's.

For (Winnipeg/Regina/Calgary) There will be some light moisture pushing through each region, however the big winter storm should remain to the south and east of the region, passing through the Rockies and the US Plains and then pushing towards the Great Lakes, however the cold air wont miss the region as low temps will fall to near -12C for parts of the region this weekend.

Make sure to check out our Weather Forecast Center.

    Dakota Weather,

How far north into Saskatchewan do you estimate the snow will go in this storm?

Someone might disagree and add something new to update the history that has been recorded. Not every topic needs to be buried forever.
