    Available quality seed.

Was talking with farmer about seed. He said he has no quality seed for next year and won't be able to afford cert (if any available) What are others doing?
There is a bit of good grain in bins, would gov't give a break on buying bin run seed from neighbours to help?
Otherwise a lot of poor seed might have to be used and possibly just add to provlems ljke fus in future.

Maybe they could delay the cgc proposed changes for an additional year.....that would help.

Seed doesn't have to be perfect to grow well, feed wheat works just fine if that's all you have.

Still have 2014 1st gen after certified Utmost seed, made a #2 this year, only $6 seed cost? Trying to decide on newer varieties.

There is a song about this "everybody talks, everybody talks".
Also the old phrase " loose lips sink ships".

Look a how much everybody knows about your neighborhood. I am always shocked at how much some farmers know l. Its like a full time job to goto coffee and visit around to get all details.

Ie. Farmer X had their 425 hp tractor on the sc****r not their 550. The 550 is in the shop for def issues. Farmer x's wife went to Poland for 2 weeks. While she was there she had a tummy tuck".

Trying to get some good seed from a neighbor is going to get really complicated.

And yet Percy got his canola seed cleaned at a neighbour's and nobody ratted the lying S.O.B. out, costing the industry billions.

As green as all fields looked this fall, we won't need to seed.
