how come no one talks about this ????

this is what happens when you confuse dreams with reality

This has been reported but not in the mainstream media as most Ontario people residing in the GTA actually benefit from the government's scams so it is not a problem to them. Equalization will ensure that they don't bear the cost of the disaster personally. I think the only option to avoid this disaster is separation in the west and quick.

For anyone smarter than I, I'm thinkin' human beings can be relatively easy to predict.
Human nature would be why Alberta is going down the same road as Ontario.
The Green Nazis have the political power now. You are on the outside now if you disagree.
The general population that increasingly doesnt own their own home let alone ever own their vehicles outright, are generally anti 'big' everything.
Have you tried to explain basic economics or markets to your hired man? Don'nt even start on common sense or science!!! Just dont be a day late with his check!
Unlike the Nazi Socialist Party of the 30s, this whole movement will be around a lot longer.
Who's qualifed to speak out. Who's got the energy/bravery to do so. Who's gonna listen???

        About the GTA. Good point.
How many times have you watched a canadian documentary about a national issue filmed entirely in the GTA???

Yes. Trudeau is eyeing equalization payments to pay some of his spending spree. And carbon taxes to pay some of it. And ^GST to pay some. And I'll bet a capital gains 'adjustment' to finger your farms. Leaving is a very attractive option. Parsley

I is a mathematical certainty that Ontario will need a bailout and since equalization revenues are set to fall, carbon taxes will fill the void. Gotta leave this sinking ship now. Are there any lifeboats?

There is a mountainous divide in Canada. Wealth creators vs those who merely want a piece of it.

                        Farmers know how to work.

Too many Cndns don't know how to work.Too many people have learned and expect they don't have to work.

                        Some things worth mentioning :

                        1. Hire people in your own community. Support your own community. Why? Farmers once had huge voting block that all govt's listened to. We don't anymore. Number of farms have dwindled. Your community is your best voice.

                        2. Food is always in demand. Lucky us. Eaters are a growing group, worldwide

                        3. If the Chinese can aftford to import our raw commodities, value add, and ship them back to us to buy, (for example , honey), we can afford to value add our own and hire our own.

                        4. Farmers need to both scheme together, and work together, more often, more closely. Scheme a big picture. Stop bashing other farmers; it gives permission to all of society to bash farmers. View fellow farmers as partners

                        5. OIl was the economic engine in the West. Food can be the economic engine in the West.

                        6. There is a hard-working skill set that is looking for work. If JT stays in power, and I believe he will, he will provides free everthing to non-entitled welfare-seekers; favour Eastern Canada; Canandian oil won't flourish in Canada. Never, ever, undervalue the worth of people who know how to work.

7.For farmers to profit, farmers must do the planning. Period

                        Pars
