    Better than a hurricane?

A little while ago I said what we were enduring with the first winter storm in Oct was better than a hurricane.
Well, cue the hurricane. First torrential rains in the east and now the west coast. Unbelievable.

Looked at straight cut oats stubble yesterday....SOLID GREEN, mostly from shatter no doubt, another shameful waste. Will see if straight cut canola stubble is as green if not now next spring.

All fields around here are pretty green this year, ours included. And we don't have a JD combine. A lot of Canola shelled this year, no need to seed next spring.
