while it is true war is an industry, and the democrats seem to feed that industry as much as the
republicans. remember the ( 2or 3 Bush wars)

trumps solution is either bomb them out of existence.
or quit interfering or build the military or reduce the military.
depending on the day of the week or who he is speaking to.

so maybe the conservative media ( fox or whoever),actually found an old democrat that said that.
    but it is hardly newsworthy.

trump says a lot of things, that is his tactic, he is a sales man, he agrees with you completely ,
till the next customer walks in.

Trump believes he knows more about ISIS than all the US Generals. So many Americans are so very naive and gullible when it comes to politics. Military spending is purposely spread out all across the US for economic and political reasons. There are a lot of jobs at stake. This makes the US electorate very dependent on taxes being transferred to the military and their supporting industries.

"On a grand scale, the report showed – yet again – that U.S. military spending easily dwarfed the rest of the world. With a defense budget of around $597 billion, it was almost as much as the next 14 countries put together and far larger than the rest of the world. China, a rising military power and the world's most populous country, is perhaps the only country that can hold a candle to America's military budget. However, its own budget of $145.8 billion is less than a third of the U.S. budget" https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/worldviews/wp/2016/02/09/this-remarkable-chart-shows-how-u-s-defense-spending-dwarfs-the-rest-of-the-world/
