It's canola cutting rain. Who said the flip of the page on calender would cause weather change, shoot the messenger ? One quarter of awesome durum down at a snail's pace. Now we can use this break to do preventative maintenance or go to the bar to hear the bragging. Problem is, there are no bars left in rural Sask.

Lucky us, .35 of an inch but still better than what some people are dealing with. At least our ground isn't completely saturated and has a chance to dry out! An inconvenient bump in the road! Although the forecast does look shitty...

First spit of rain since Aug 26, been combining since Aug 29. Yes, just lucky compared to elsewhere. I said watch the calendar, don't shoot! Canola dry yesterday. Wheat done, about half was dry. Darn forecast looks like a BIG bump in the road....lots of stuff to take care of ....plus tired after long busy days.

Fun times got a few loads of wheat off today at 19.5 moisture. And now soaked again by rain.

It's only raining in sask. today i think. Must've been that heartbreaking loss to the bombers yesterday that's causing the tears ( rain )
