I never put a team on that field this year... In fact never had a team on that field for several years now.

Growing green peas instead. Ya I know, I missed last year's boom. No body knows for sure... Weather, markets, prices.... crap shoot.

There are many lentil fields around Regina that look abandonded and many that should have been. Several have one strip made in them and that's it, no more combine for weeks. Every time people go crazy with the seeded acres, Mother Nature lays down the law. Seen it repeated many times. In 1994, too many contracts-poorer crop coming in late, prices for both Canary and Lentils almost tripled by December, if my memory serves me correct, maybe it was Jan.
