Just a shame in some spots, what a challenge we endure some years! SF hope that is environmentally friendly chem? Yup we all spray the water! Wheat at 15.6%v yesterday, forecast says don't swath, farmaholic. Lodged areas of wheat tough grind. Canola all cut. Please NO wind like Calgary! Keep trying all. Just a pic to smile at...Click image for larger version

We are west of Edmonton and got four inches and 50 to 100 km winds since Monday morning. Lots of horizontal crops now. More runoff than the past two years combined. At least it's filling the dugouts that were starting to get low.

The word "farming" is a verb, not?

Harvest will happen next month, weather permitting.

Spraying standing water....nice... It has to land somewhere! Thankfully it wont end up in the water table in our lifetime.....or....will it?

2 hours of peas combined followed by three days of wet. Wheat and canola a ways out, barley could be swathed but we don't dare. Edmonton NE.

Nice day for peas , ohh ya we don't know what wet is lol
So my question is , what percentage of green peas are off ? 60-70 % ?
Of that what percent is less than 3% bleach ? 50%
So for the average planted , and now harvested say less than 50 % 2 OB on 70% harvested ?
That number not so huge now eh ??

Should get to 20% tonight. Big push with the forecast. Looks shitty. Yields are average, nothing to write home about. Hope the prices can rebound a bit but with the "monster" crop coming better sell now. Oh and you better contract some of your grain or you wont be able to move it as the guy from MJ says on the radio! Haha

Ya forecast looks off and on yet for up to 10 days
Pule crops and cereal quality will continue to deteriorate
