See lots of barley, most looks pretty good, have to wonder why malt price has stayed as high as it is.
Given normal harvest weather, should be lots to choose from.

Local elevator quote has malt barley price nearly double feed price.

Will have this hotter weather over the last 2-3 weeks be enough to drive up the protein level in malt barley, making it a grading factor??

Wish good wheat would be double over feed wheat - that's the real Fukin joke .
Feed wheat for pigs the past two years selling for the same price as high grade hrsw .
Ahh but our high quality wheats from Canada must compete against garbage from the Black Sea area .
The great grain robery again by lame excuse

WOW Just checking the temps in the 14 day forecast, all below normal, and really dropping after Aug 20th. Not great for desiccating with roundup.

That's about all that's missing this year for kicks now is an early frost.
Might as well do that too. Get all the bad luck out of the system so next year is better. Ahhhh next year will always be better....
