Unloading in regina. Talked to a guy in front of me... first q of lentils sample and 5 bu second a 2 and 34 bu. Said depends on drainage... nw of the cityComment

Hold on to your hats. The pulse marketers are going to sit pretty quiet so they can get product as cheap as possible and the contracted acres get delivered.
Farmers play games too. When prices go up too fast they plead "act of God" and lock their bins and the marketer is caught short. Just saying I know a few guys like that too. Remember the marketer doesn't have an out and I've seen many companies go under when the pre-sold product does not materialize.Comment

Talked to a processor this aft he said red lentils are going to run from 0-10. A lot of the big growers have told him that. Prices have climbed 4 cents into the last wk. Lock your bins boys!!Comment

Absolutely obvious quality lentils will be king this year. If you're "lucky" enough to have grown some off contract...LOCK THE BIN.
