    Who do you thinks sells the grain at the west coast for 10 bucks a bushel every day.

    Even when they were paying 6 bucks a bushel on the prairies the graincos had a 4 dollars per bushel spread they were gaining.

    Prices off the west coast are moving up and prairie prices are half of west coast prices.

    That is who is making the money.

    Not to defend the railways but the costfor a car on 112 car unit train it about 3700 bucks moose jaw to vancouver.

    We pay the freight and elevation.

        Grant Devine on the house this morning, praising Ritz as a farmer who understands the problem. He also repeats how the government is loathe to intervene. Gee, he was ready to intervene in the Potash sale.

          I think too many farmer politicians are on another file now and have been to far removed from the reality of farming.

            Isnt it funny how guys like Dave and MB cant come back with what he is doing so great.
            Just cut down.
            His attitude is wrong, Their is pain in Rural Canada yet he cant grasp the situation. And then when it gets close to breaking point he creates another problem. Wait in 14 days the delay with FCC is due and guess what very little movement since he announced that FCC would be doing that.
