I think the pulse annual meeting should be interesting as well.

I would gladly pay 50 bucks, if I could watch it at home.

By the time I drive to saskatoon, go to the show , eat, etc, I am into this for over 400 bucks.

With all this technology, and I think Shawn Haney is doing a presentation about it, this could all be on the internet for a live feed or to watch at your leisure for a fee.

Oh wait, they already have a live feed from the Saskatoon inn to exhibition grounds, so it could be done with a call in available for questions from producers.

AS mentioned earlier, I would pay to watch at home and if there was something to comment on, I could call in.

The show could be the same way, instead of wasting time talking to a bunch of boothies that take numbers and don't call. Seriously, I think some of the people at those booths work for the circus when they come to cities.

(This is assuming that the lead post in this thread is accurate).

Since when did it become "not outrageous" to pay $50.00 to go to an annual general meeting
Here we go again. Stifle the dissemination of information. If there is a feed of the meeting already; then how about making it available to all the people (and everyone else) who pays for this damned excuse of an organization. And just who claims there should be any extra cost to this service? Damn those people.
I didn't see one word about this charge for the SPG meeting in this months pulse growers magazine; so maybe all this is wrong. If not it looks like a "snow job" to keep the inner decisions from getting out.

No mention about the SPG election, appointments etc in 4 glossy pages...Doesn't look above board to me; and no its too far and wouldn't likely be worth it to travel to Saskatoon to see this example of democracy in action.

signed... a forced contributor to SPG
