Some one explain why billionaire farmers aren't buying sask land?

play with other people's money.
They stopped buying when we did three years
ago. Hm!

companies buying large tracks of land, none at all
go for it.

I think the 360,000 is the peak where we are at
and yes it will be lower. Real simple this is sask
not Iowa. Short season and one to two massive
crops in a ten year cycle three disasters , and five
average.
History shows that.

sf3- won't matter where the dirt is as long as they can get their mitties on it, china needs dirt to maintain their political status quo (got to keep their masses watered and fed---keeps revolutions to a minimum) they are getting shut down in nz, aus and africa so they will keep buying at a frenzied pace as long as they can, therefore keeping land prices high and likely escalate.

Phoenix I agree with your comments but I think
we have one more year of this shit then their is
going to be some kind of change. But I think we're
getting close to the peak. Our area has three
more marks before the sales end.

ur right there will be a change, by then interest rates will have begun to rise, the world will have grown a decent crop sending grain prices to lower levels, and land will be selling at still very high prices.. their is pent up demand from foreign nationals and they have to spend lots of cash to pry it from landowners that will still be making good roi's from their tenants
