Is china our friend? Or is Canada their way of getting a foot in North America!

Most know my feelings about this super power!
I think Canada, Saskatchewan have opened up a
can of worms and their is no way to get the genie
    back in the bottle!
All I see is bad things happening to Canada.
What are others thinking or is it just me that
doesn't like where we are going as a country?

It's a simple question, I look at how they operate
and think we're suckers waiting to be had! We're a
        easy mark!

I agree Sask the question is not when they will screw us but how badly!!! Then what is the alternative, the old NDP idea of storing stuff in the ground because it won't deteriorate? We saw how that worked in saskatchewan. We need capital to develop our resources to come from somewhere. So, god help us, we will have to depend on govt to enact and enforce regulations on the chinese.

Carebear I agree the NDP was not the right
decision, but the way were going scares me. It's.
like going to a dance with your girl friend(usa)
meeting another (china) and getting it, then
wailing up to a hell queen.
Time will tell but they do not do business like us!

China will do business in a way which
pleases them, not us cousin theys in the
drivers seat. Comedia kin take it er
leave it, whine and snivelling won't
getter done when it comes to China.
              MAYBE
a head tax is in order (oops we was
already there once and it whent bad, we
apologized fer doing it, already). Heil

China is never our friend. China only
operates in the best interests of those
connected to the party. We will be
                learning that the hard way.

China should not be able to buy things here
unless Canadians are allowed to buy the same
things in the same manner over there. I seriously
                  doubt canadians or canadian investment
companies can buy farmland in china.

SF3, try going to any store, or any
parts dealer and try to find a product,
                    bearing, gearbox, hoseclamp, tool,
anything that isn't made in china.

Do you really think 'getting' is the
                    right word?

It could be the same reason why when
                    driving down divided highways in
Alberta, the vehicle driving slow in the
fast lane at least 90% of the time has
                    green and white license plates.

Anyone know why its taking so long for the Glencore deal to get Chinese approval? My guess is the Chinese billionare official is not paid off yet.

Youda think that the NDPers wood be more
friendly ta Chine than the Progressive's
wouldn't ya. After all they share the
                            same agenda, socialist, pinko, commie
ideals. Why has Herr Harper embraced
them? Must be some payoffs involved
                            somewheres!!!! After all it's always
                            about the money.
