    health care inflation

    O my god.

I ASSumed our health care inflation rate would be on
par with americas and maybe less because we don't
have the third party thing but this website says its
    running at 15-20%.

That means our costs double every 4.6 to 3.5 years-
    fkin DOUBLE!!!

People have no idea how expensive "free" stuff from government really is.

At what point does Medicare move to free enterprise? Currently, in Kindersley you can not see a Doctor unless it is an emergency. You can not get a physical, or get basic prescriptions filled. The system is broken.

Probably shouldn't have posted that, other numbers
have the rate at 7.4% from 1998-2008 and 4 % last
            year.

But if its true at 200 billion a year cost that makes
            400billion in 4.5 years,900billion in 9 years and 1.8
trillion in 13.5 years which is about 100% canada
            current gdp.

F-em, let them freeze and die in the dark,
only the healthy er wealthy are needed in
Comedian society. Lets have the vets take
care of the old and infirmed. Framing is
about being efficient soooos health care
              should be tooooooo!!!!!!

Personally, I would love to be able to buy insurance to take care of my families own health care needs. But nope that's illegal in the Dominion.

Can we not buy insurance in the US and have our
                  surgery there?

Dave, the health care system in Kindersley is broken
because a decade of so ago decision making was
moved out of the community to Rosetown. And why
should anyone in Rosetown care if Kindersley
                      freezes in the dark.

Local control is essential. It makes people
                      accountable.

Burbs, Does not the tax funded health care system
doesn't remove your wallet too??? Come on, we are
paying through the nose for an inferior system. It is
just that south of the border the money from your
wallet passes through fewer hands on its way to the
                          health provider.

And in the states you are treated like a customer,
                          not an inconvenience.

All I can say is we treat hurt animals with more respect than humans.

I have seen more older people that had productive active lives succumb to a stroke or alzhiemers being kept alive for no other purpose than it creates a job for someone. Lets face it, time is not on a 75 year old that has a stroke.

                            Why prolong the inevitable.

Harsh you say, too ****ing bad, I want to go quickly. Not lieing around moaning and groaning and shitting myself so some nurse can earn 90 grand a year.
